She played a teenager in love with a vampire in the blockbuster four-film Twilight franchise.
But Kristen Stewart has left that image far behind her as she posed for a cover shoot for the French edition of Vanity Fair in a series of outfits that emphasised both her elegant glamour and her sizzling sexiness.
In one shot the 24-year-old radiated sex appeal as she crouched with her back against a wall in a black dress pulled off one shoulder and hitched up to show off her shapely thighs.
Feel the heat: Kirsten Stewart sizzled in black as she left her teenage Twilight persona Bella behind in a smouldering photoshoot for the French edition of Vanity Fair
High-heeled, black patent, lace-up boooties with pointy toes completed the seductive look, with her bobbed brunette hair mussed up in that just-got-out-of-bed look.
In another she looked red-carpet ready in a stunning, knee-length gown with a high neck and long sleeves heavily embellished from the waist up with gold and crystal beads.
The pleated cream skirt, with a lighter decoration of gold beads, was cinched in at the waist with a belt - in gold, of course.
The star's tresses were greased back and styled into a high quiff and she smouldered in make-up in smokey tones. Large statement earring completed her look.

For the cover, Kristen, who starred as Bella in the hit Twilight films, wore a white dress, again heavily embellished but this time with diamond-like crystals and sparkly silver beads across the bust and around her neck.
Her hair was brushed to the left and not so heavily pulled back, while her make-up favoured grey, blue and silver tones.
Vanity Fair broke it's 'no interviews' rule to run an extensive Q and A with the actress, who took two years off after the release of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 in 2012.

'I think that after Twilight and after Snow White And The Huntsman, which were such huge movies, that I felt I didn't want to search for the next "big, successful" thing.
'One thing that people do with two enormous movies is think that that's their thing now, to do big movies, and ride that wave. I got off this huge wave and said, "I'm going to go in for a bit." I'm going to come back out later.'
And she has done that with a vengeance.
Kristen has four movies in the works this year - Anesthesia, Still Alice, Clouds of Sils Maria and Camp X-Ray. - and three for 2015 - The Big Shoe, Equals and American Ultra.
